A vocal-instrumental ensemble of contemporary music led by a world-renowned conductor and cimbalom player
We are a professional ensemble focused on contemporary artistic music, and we are obsessed with it! Our artistic director is none other than Daniel Skála – a cimbalom player, composer, conductor, and most of all, a person overflowing with extraordinary ideas.
On one hand, he plays with top-class ensembles and orchestras all over the world and composes at the speed of light. On the other hand, he is a passionate teacher who also organizes courses focused on creative improvisation. Every single one of our concerts is a piece of art itself, whether we are performing guided improvisations, world premieres, or pieces that are 50 years old. We mainly work with sound, but an indispensable part of our creative identity involves collaborations with scenographers, visual artists, and dancers.
