Monika Horsáková
Filmmaker, music journalist, dramaturge

Head of the Institute of Film, Television and Radio Production at the Silesian University in Opava. In the years 1997–2012 she worked at the Czech Television, Television Studio Ostrava. First as an editor-dramatug, then as a lead editor, editor and presenter. As a selectorist and music dramaturg, she also collaborated with Czech Radio Ostrava, was the author of the music programs Café de chanson and Harenda, and the dramaturg of the Radio Ostrava Live concert series. He also collaborates with Czech Radio Vltava and Czech Radio Prague on literary or literary-musical programs. For the Ostrava Planetarium, she was preparing the music listening program Hvězda hudebního nebe. From 2014 to 2021 she was a member of the Colors of Ostrava and Meltingpot teams, where she worked as a production, editor and playwright. For example, she is the co-author of the documentary series Alone Against Evil, History on Her Own Skin and History on Her Own Skin II and director of the portrait documentary series Voices of Meltingpot 2019. In all cases, she also took care of musical directing. She is the co-author of the books Animation from Ostrava, the White Paper on Ostrava Culture and 30 Years of Fiducia and the Ostrava Cultural Scene.
